- Gaining recent popularity in our health conscious society is a tasty and wholesome alternative to the old standard of potato chips. The vegetable chip, a recipe of thinly sliced vegetables deep fried or sometimes baked, is a flavorsome snack as well
- Although vegetable chips were created as far back as the potato chips, they have been getting some recent recognition from those looking for healthy alternatives to the old standards
- Vegetables can be made into chips with different textures, thickness, and seasonings
- If it comes down to choosing a product based on the fat used to make it, saturated and trans fat, the healthiest party snack would be the vegetable chips either baked or made in trans fat free oil
