- Before going to the gym, it is best to have a productive plan in place. In fact, plan a week’s worth of routines designated for specific muscle areas of the body.
- Mass building workouts including dips, squats and using a bench press are all considered compound exercises.
- For a more effective workout of building muscle mass, compound exercises may be more effective. This is because compound exercises include the usage of several muscle groups.
- Bodybuilders will sometimes supplement workouts with machine exercises as well as isolation exercises. For the most part, however, free weights have more capability of stabilizing the muscles more so than machines may do.
