Delicious Meal Replacement Shake Recipes

Meal replacement shake recipes can be a great way to lose weight and get the right nutrition without having to pay the high price that comes with many commercial meal replacement shakes. Another benefit when you make these shakes at home from scratch is that you will get better nutrition because you are using fresh ingredients, instead of a product that has been sitting on the shelf for months. Many of these meal replacement shake recipes are delicious, and you will prefer them to high fat and unhealthy options. Make sure that any recipe you follow provides complete nutrition, including carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals, protein, and even essential fatty acids. All of the shakes listed below will provide a nutritional meal replacement while being delicious at the same time. You will need a blender, so that you can blend all of the ingredients together. Combine all of the ingredients for each recipe except any ice in the blender and then blend together until smooth. Add any ice required and blend again.

One of the favorite meal replacement shake recipes is very easy to make, and provides complete nutritional support. The recipe contains 650 calories and is a suitable breakfast or lunch replacement that can help with weight loss.

1 cup of fresh strawberries, washed and the caps removed
1 Tablespoon of Ground Flax Seed

The Creamy Peanut Butter shake is one of the tastiest meal replacement shake recipes you will try, and this is also true of the Orange Mango Smoothie which has a refreshing fruit flavor.

Two other delicious and unusual meal replacement shake recipes are the Apple Pie Shake and the Breakfast Mocha and Banana Shake. Both of these are packed with nutrients, but taste great so you will enjoy them.

Breakfast Mocha and Banana Shake

¼ a cup of freshly brewed coffee
½ a cup of milk

To be considered complete in the nutrition area you will need to take fish oil capsules together with the shake to ensure you get enough essential fatty acids.

I’m so worried about the way our love ones are heading in nowadays. Watching Jamie Olivers food revolution on tv scared the thingies out of me. I suggest we all start cooking some healthy recipe like these at home if we’re going to fix this horrible situation. The ones on that site seem pretty easy, I tried last night and it’s the first time my family has eaten well in so long, I just feel wonderful.

I feel the same, but having these very processed protein shakes and artificial sweeteners are at the very heart of the problem. Just eat REAL food.
